Your Money, Is It a Game? is a workshop about fiscal responsibility, financial planning and Christian living. Participants have the opportunity to pray, read scripture and become engaged with others in social interaction to develop and understand budgeting concepts and Christian values that should drive personal decisions regarding the economic activities of earning, spending, saving and charitable giving.
The answer to the simple question asked by the title of the
game is no. Your money is not a game. Earning, spending,
saving and giving are major functions in every productive
persons life. The biblical parable (Mathew 25: 14-30) is
summarized in verse 29: "For the man who uses well
what he is given shall be given more, and he shall
have abundance."*
